I am thankful for all of the bright  shining lights I have met here and for the vision we create together.  We are all teachers and students, growing and changing together, creating our reality in this beautiful time and space.  Being here has brought me closer to my higher self, The Source.  Blessings to everyone Past, Present, and Future.

Cascada Verde Costa Rica

Volunteer & Work

Cascade Verde is open to volunteers that are wholeheartedly committing to this project and the purely natural style of life that exists here in the wild jungle of Costa Rica.  We are seeking self-motivated workers that are flexible, dependable, and efficient. Experience is not necessary, but very helpful. What is necessary is a desire to learn and work hard, a sense of curiosity and an ability to observe.

Cascada Verde is not the place for you if you are just looking for a inexpensive stay or if you are not interested in a natural diet and life. Please bring your own raw recipes to be able to help preparing healthy meals.  Also if you are not familiar with the term Permaculture we would like you to read up on it or better take a course before.

Work includes all kinds of gardening tasks, attending guests, house cleaning and maintenance, carpentry, office work etc. Feel welcome to contribute any of your special talents and skills that could be of benefit to the evolution of our project [bring your own special equipment and your own work gloves].

Cascada Verde has no special volunteers accommodation, but you can live in our communal house what functions like a hostel open to the public.

Due to our tropical humid and hot climate volunteers work only in the early morning.

In order to be able to retreat and discover the beautiful nature around Cascada Verde, volunteers accept partly financial  contributions instead of full practical participation.

We ask for only 4 hours of focused work, 6 days a week. Additional free days are available for an extra $5 donation.  We prefer a minimum stay of 3 months. The cost is $100 per month.

In exchange for your service we offer a lot of hands-on learning experience insight to organic gardening in the tropics, and re-connecting with mother Earth. We give you accommodation and the possibility to use the fruits and greens of our garden.
