Why should you freeze in Europe, the USA or Canada if there is somewhere where you can live the whole year round in a pleasantly warm temperature?

Due to increasingly higher heating bills and long winters, life is becoming continually more expensive and more difficult. We have to put up with annoying things like having to scratch the ice off car windows screens and shoveling snow. Short days mean a lack of light, and our bodies are no longer as young as they were and thus even more susceptible to the cold and damp. 

Even southern Europe cannot be relied upon to offer warm weather the whole year around. Long, cool, changeable weather makes even this climate zone rather unpleasant at times. Colds and the flu, or aching joints can be the direct results. So where should we overwinter our tired bodies?

So, off to COSTA RICA!

Come to our small hotel on the outskirts of Uvita.  Our rooms are very good value for money and the general cost of living is so low it is possible for those with even the smallest of budgets to live reasonably comfortably.

We can offer you three different options living with us:

• Option 1
  Live in Cascarda Verde for 2 – 5 months. Pay a fair price for your room (340 – 400 US $) per month and take a well earned rest.
• Option 2
  Rent a room and help us in the garden. For the work, 1 US $ per hour will be deducted from what you eventually pay for your room.
• Option 3
  You can come as an volunteer. This means you undertake 4 hours of work, 5 days a week in the garden or office. There you cook, clean, wash etc. You live in the volunteer house where you pay 35 US $ per week.

By living together as we do, a pleasant and caring community often develops. People from all parts of the world can get to know each other. They can share a wealth of experiences such as cooking, eating, going on walks, experiencing flora, fauna and culture together. They can exchange past experiences and experience new. They can practice and pass on their individual skills such as yoga, qui gong, meditation etc. to each other or just share wonderful moments together.
